For the first time in its 135-year history, Watkins is making its famous Vanilla, Pepper, Cinnamon and other fine spices and extracts available to chefs in the restaurant/hospitality trade at restaurant supply prices.

Our dedication to using only the finest ingredients is the same today as it was in 1928 when our spices and extracts were awarded world's best at the International Expo in Paris, France.

Since 1868, Watkins has been making products derived from the finest ingredients. Whether it's the rich Korintje cassia cinnamon bark sourced from Sumatra, premium -grade Madagascar vanilla beans or pungent peppercorns from the Malabar coast of India, we search the world over for the finest in raw materials and then process them according to our own strict quality control standards.

Every product is made at our factory located in the scenic Mississippi River bluff town of Winona, Minnesota. Our unique granulating and blending processes, developed over the course of more than a century, are designed to retain the rich essential oils that help take cuisine to the highest level.

Spices are sold in a dry quart amber plastic flip-top container, which is lightweight, shatterproof and prevents essential oils from light degradation. Our most popular, high-volume spices are also available in a gallon-size plastic jar, as are our Soup Bases and Pure Cocoa. Our famous Vanilla and other extracts, as well as our Barbecue Sauce Concentrate, are sold in a one-gallon plastic bottle. All labels are UV-coated to withstand the foodservice environment.
